While perusing the flightsim.com ‘latest files’ yesterday I found an FS9 GPS update by David Dibbell which adds some really cool functions to the standard GPS, including a proper, working waypoint “Step” function which is *exactly* what I was trying to create for the Skyhawk NAS. David’s update allows you to create and edit flight plans in the GPS without having to use the built-in flight planner.
I will try to integrate as many of the new functions as I can into the sim’s UFC and MFD. This update combined with Eric Marciano’s SimpleFMC gives me an enhanced navigation facility in the sim.
