At the end of 2017 I ‘competed’ in an ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ Flightsim event, organised by Aerosoft.
It was a great fun event, with plenty of entertainment from the other competitors, writing some great diaries, and posting some awesome screenshots along the way. I decided to do the trip in my own, left-field way, so used a ship (HMNZS Canterbury) as my primary transport. In a true “tortoise and the hare” way I was often at the end of each leg prior to many of the high-flying airliner pilots!
I thought that rather than my race diary being lost I would archive it here as a series of pdf’s to ponder 🙂
