I have always wanted to be able to cycle through flightplan waypoints in the cockpit, and tonight I achieved just that!
Using a LUA script, reading and writing a couple of offsets in FSUIPC and some logic I have written a simple piece of code which “steps” through each waypoint in sequence. Once it was written and tested I rolled it out to the sim and assigned it to the STP button on the UFC.
During the implementation process, one of the USB hubs, which has been flaky for some time, finally pushed me too far…. After a session of cable-tie cutting and re-cabling I have a shiny new USB hub in place of the 2 old dead ones…. tick another item off the to-do list!
