Tonight I fabricated the brackets to attach the hook and gear lever mechanisms. Fitted the rotary switches, and a sample hook lever (which is too long, and the wrong shape…. Clamped the brackets in place and they look good! Hopefully tomorrow I’ll print the components for the Hook and Gear panels, then I can paint and mount the panels and finally wire them up and test!
Clamped in place, the lever looks ok (even if it’s too long, and broken!) and the bracket fits in place nicely!
Fills in the gap at the front of the console 😉 Oh and the wall lining looks pretty cool, even though it’s just hanging on tape!
I also fitted a 3D printed knob I made ages ago….. Some good things really do take time! (note to self… must dust cockpit!)
