Not very exciting to look at, but pretty exciting for what it represents…
Today, Nathan and I lined and insulated the end wall of the loft, and built a support for the visuals TV. Although it is only pretty basic, what it represents is a big step forward in the development of the 737 sim.
The ‘shelf’ is framed up in 3×2, with an 18mm ply top… should be strong enough to hold the not insignificant weight of the TV.
The circular hole at the lower left of the plywood panel was cut out to make Nathan’s Captain America shield, but now allows for cable access from downstairs.
All of the lining panels have a good quantity of pink bats behind then, as a start of trying to make this space more comfortable 🙂
