The GA28R ‘Arrow’ Sim has departed our shores, returning to it’d original manufacturer Aertosoft Australia.
Her final flight was made in our new home, before being disassembled for shipping (by Air Freight alongside a 737 simulator from work!) to Sydney.
It was a bittersweet moment, there are a lot of great memories wrapped up in that wee simulator. Still, what better place for it to end up than with the guy who built it all them years ago!
I’ve lost track of how many hours I spent flying around NZ in this great Sim, starting in FS9, before moving to FSX then finally P3D it has evolved over the years, but has always been my ‘starts first time, every time’ Sim, which really helps with the motivation to keep working on the non-working Sims in the hangar.

While this closes the chapter on the Arrow, it’s not the end of GA flying in the Man cave!
The opportunity to acquire a beautiful hand built Cessna 177RG simulator made this all possible. There will be posts about the Cessna coming soon….
