The Boeing 737 ‘Classic’ EFIS is a bit different to that which is fitted to the NG, with the NG having more functionality. Most notable differences is that it is mounted in the centre pedestal rather than on the glare shield.
I have modelled a classic EFIS panel, and even got part way through making it before moving house and loosing the panel…
The opportunity to pick up an NG EFIS at the right price was too good to pass up. SO, a quick CAD model, some 3d Printing and I have my NG EFIS masquerading as a classic in my pedestal.
Now it just needs a coat of paint, some Dzus fasteners and it’ll be good enough (for now)
